Steve  has over 40 years experience in urban and regional planning in nearly 30 countries in Africa, Asia , the Caribbean, the Middle East and Eastern and Western Europe. Much of that experience has been gained as a member of interdisciplinary and multinational teams, undertaking complex studies and projects, many for international funding agencies. His specialties are regional and urban planning in rapidly growing economies, including preparing strategic plans for regions, metropolitan cities and existing and new towns, as well as more specialist studies, in for example, industrial and housing areas. He is also experienced in undertaking environmental impact assessments (EIA) for new infrastructure projects such as ports, bridges, roads and railways.
