Alla Kos was included in the 2019 and 2020 lists for 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics and Diverse/Responsible AI. She firmly believes that deliberately engaging with responsible AI innovation and sustainability issues is the most creative and high impact way for leaders at all levels to make a real difference in the world.

 

Alla is a Senior International Development and Business professional with a background in law and expertise in capacity building, corporate responsibility, sustainability and human rights issues. She has a diverse cross-sector practical experience and works in industry, helping companies and individuals understand the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals, social footprint and rights-based approaches.

 

Alla and her consulting practice helps innovators align and meaningfully engage with key EU and global guidelines, standards and frameworks aimed at building and deploying trustworthy AI systems and solutions for the benefit of people and society, and co-creating thriving ecosystems.

 

In the past, among other roles Alla served as Director of the NIS Regional Institution Building Programme at the American Bar Association's Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative (ABA CEELI – now ABA Rule of Law Initiative). She is also alumna of the Stanford’s interdisciplinary Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) and a member of Leadership Network for Change. Alla is based in Vienna, Austria
